From Tunison's Peerless Universal Atlas of the World. By HC Tunison, publisher. Although an early 20th century atlas, Tunison's works were a throwback and homage to the grand era of American mapmaking. Tunison was known for his vivid coloring and high quality stock, one of the reasons why his atlases were by far the most expensive of the period, and currently among the more difficult editions to source from the period.
