Charles Francois Delamarche and his son Felix were two of the most important French mapmakers of the late 18th and early 19th century. Inheriting the mantle from Robert de Vaugondy and Bonne, The Delamarche faily served as the official mapmakers to French royalty and the later geographic society of the republic.
